    Directions

    Traveling North on 35W:

    Exit U of M- West Bank.  At the stoplight, turn right.  The Southern is on the first block on your left. 

     

    Traveling South on 35W:

    Exit Washington Ave.  At the stoplight, turn left.  Cross freeway overpass.  The Southern is on the first block on your left

     

    Traveling East on 94 (from western suburbs, Walker, downtown):

    Take 35W North.  Exit U of M- West Bank from 35N.  At stop light, turn right.  The Southern is on the first block on your left.

     

    Traveling West on 94 (from St. Paul):

    Exit Cedar Ave.  At stoplight, turn right.  Follow Cedar through the shopping district to where the street curves to the left.  Pass through stoplight at Washington Ave. and Cedar Ave.  The Southern is on the right.

     

    Parking

    Option 1 - City ramp next to the Holiday Inn:

    Entrance is between Holiday Inn entrance and the green space.  Usually the best space availability.
    0-1 Hour: $3.00 1-2 Hours: $5.00 2-3 Hours: $7.00 3-24 hours: $13.00

     

    Option 2 - Street Meters:

    Rigidly enforced until 6pm or 8pm daily (check the signs).  You may not park in front of the Southern from 4pm-6pm weekdays.  Quarters only 1.25/hr

     

    Option 3 - Ground lots:

     Located behind Bullwinkle’s Bar prices are $3.00 6am-6pm and $3.00 6pm to 6am and The Corner Bar prices are $4.00 6am-6pm and $3.00 6pm to 6am
