Philosophy
I have been
pursuing dance and the performing arts for 25 years, studying and
performing around the world. For the past six years my work as a
dancer has been concentrated in the Twin Cities area and during
this time my career as a performing artist has bloomed in ways that
has deepened my connection with other performers and choreographers
while furthering my craft as a dancer. Receiving this prestigious
award has been a very moving and inspiring experience. To be honored
with recognition by colleagues in this way, I am filled with a further
sense of how this community supports its artists and strives to
make this community a better place to live both for the patrons
of the arts and the artists themselves.
