Bountiful Blooms: NexGen/YDP Student Showcase

The NexGen/Youth Dance Project (YDP) Showcase will give Threads Dance Project dance students, ages 4–12, their first chance to perform on the proscenium stage! Students will show what they learned in the recent NexGen/YDP spring session. The NexGen/YDP program at Threads Dance Nexus provides holistic dance and wellness education to young people from across the Twin Cities.

This year’s theme is “Bountiful Blooms.” The show will feature Ballet and Modern dances inspired by the beauty and vitality of nature.The program will also include special excerpts from Threads’ Tapestries 10.0 - Anniversary Edition, giving students the unique opportunity to share the stage with professional dancers. Threads’ professional company members and NexGen/YDP Instructors, Malia Craft and Odessa Rain, will lead students in performances meant to highlight these young students’ creativity and growth. We are thrilled to be able to share students’ artistic accomplishments with you!
