Performance Length
Approximately 80 minutes with no intermission

There will be a casual 30-minute post-show discussion after the Friday and Saturday performances.

Select participants from the recorded interviews will join MADROSA to reflect on the show. Discussion guests will differ each night, therefore the conversation will be informed by the participants included. We hope you can join us for one or both!

Matters often touched by hand - soil, machines, ingredients - will be touched conceptually in this performance; reframing familiar topics. MADROSA explores Minnesota foodways by amplifying initiatives of two local urban businesses and two regional rural farmers. Recorded interviews with the founders of Minneapolis bakery Laune Bread, St. Paul restaurant Myriel, and the farms Heirloomista and Luke Peterson Farms are stitched into a soundscape and blended into a conceptual framework. 

Transferring energy. Connecting + disconnecting. Continuing the cycle.

We encourage you to arrive early to mingle, wander, gulp, giggle - the space will be transformed into a MADROSA immersive lobby experience.
