Join us for Tujenge Pamoja (Building Together), an evening of music and devised theatre exploring themes of land, exile, and collective memory. The evening features a musical performance by renowned Congolese musician Siama Matuzungidi and his band SIAMA'S CONGO ROOTS -Feel good Music from the Heart of Africa.  Followed by a devised theatre piece directed by Grace Ntibonera, capping off a year of work with Congolese performers and the Nyumbani Theater team. We will also preview an upcoming documentary film about Grace's story created in collaboration with Bluestem Films. This evening brings Congolese narratives to Minnesota audiences and explores the transformative power of art as a healing practice.
